Jazz Music By Rebecca Duo 3rd Fridays

Rebecca has studied and performed vocal Jazz for over 20 years. She studied under professionals such as Barbara C. Lewis (Air Force Singing Sergeants), Joanna Pascale (University of PA), Dr. Darden Purcell (GMU), and Claudia Catania who performed in the Met Opera and on Broadway. At Penn State University, she performed with the Oriana Singers and Concert Choir. While studying Viola pedagogy and vocal jazz performance at George Mason University, she had the opportunity to solo with various jazz combos and the Big Band while studying under Darden Purcell, jazz professor & vocalist. Today, Rebecca teaches private music lessons and enjoys performing at many DC area venues with friends and colleagues.
